EXTREMELY RARE Louis Vuitton wardrobe or wardrobe's trunk in cowhide leather, with brass jewellery.
At the time it was made, 'cow' range was considered the ultimate luxury far above the monogram.
Nowadays, a made to measure natural leather piece always costs more than double than the same piece in monogram.
Outer side in leather marked 'F de R' with border and old travel labels.
Original inner side with 6 drawers and 12 hangers forming a wardrobe.
Trunk numbered 817089.
Made in France around period: 1900/1920
Measurements: 115 cm in height x 56 cm in width x 55 cm in depth.
This 100 years old great lady who travelled a lot obviously shows marks of use from its numerous journeys and small flaws that are shown in the photos, which add an incredible charm.
