Lot of four lp's by TRAFFIC: Traffic were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in April 1967 by Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood and Dave Mason. They began as a psychedelic rock group and diversified their sound through the use of instruments such as keyboards (such as the Mellotron and harpsichord), sitar, and various reed instruments, and by incorporating jazz and improvisational techniques in their music. 1. : "Mr. Fantasy"/ UK 1970 issue of 1967 first lp/ Island ILPS 9061 record: EX grade (vinyl has light marks but plays excellent/ cover VG+ condition (writing and sticker from store where it was first sold on cover/ bit of wear) 2. "John Barleycorn must die"/ UK 1970 original original lp/ Island ILSP-9116 record: EX grade / cover VG+ condition (small spot of discoloration from sticker on frontcover/ backcover has name in upper left-hand corner & two spots of discoloration from stickers) 3. "Welcome to the canteen"/ France 1971 original lp/ Island 6427 002 record: EX grade (lp has a few light marks but plays excellent)/ cover EX grade 4. "Best of Traffic"/ UK seventies issue of 1969 lp/ Island ILPs 9112 record: NEAR MINT grade/ cover: EX grade (light wear) the sticker was put there by the record company. This compilation has several songs that were only released as singles! All lp's have been cleaned on my professional Pro-Ject record cleaning machine!
