The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva 2012 has a beautiful deep and brilliant garnet ruby red. The nose is broad and multifaceted and characterized by the typical hints of withering, but also by fresher vegetal notes, mint and eucalyptus, tobacco, chocolate, leather and a puff of tar. The sip is sumptuous, warm without going overboard thanks also to a strong acidity that balances it, giving it a nice progression, which ends in a final on topic, long and full but without exceeding in muscularity.
