The Barolo di Bel Colle wine comes from one of the best sub-areas of Verduno, and can be considered the true "Grand Cru" of Verduno as well as the most fitting example of that elegance which is the distinctive trait of the best Barolos from this municipality. The Bel Colle estate is located in the municipal area of ​​Verduno, in the northernmost area of ​​the Barolo denomination. The Monvigliero cru has been known for centuries for the extraordinary elegance of its wines. The vineyards are located at the center of a wonderful natural amphitheater facing south-west, which favors perfect ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes. At the end of the harvest operations, the best bunches are fermented with maceration on the skins. The wine matures for approximately 3 years in oak or chestnut barrels and finishes refining in the bottle.
