On offer here: 20 CD's - many reissues of the most beautiful Italian progrock albums ever made. Some names are maybe less known than PFM or Le Orme, however all these albums are surely worthwhile and getting very positive reviews from progarchives - from "excellent" to "esssential"! In alphabetical order: 1. Alphataurus - their eponymous debut from 1973 as a reissued / remastered cd on – AMS 189 in the AMS Italian Prog Remasters series from Italy 2011. The CD is issued in a 3-fold papersleeve (a beautiful and exact replicate of the original 6-panel album gatefold cover with a spine and with tunnel pocket for CD and booklet on the right panel). The CD is placed in a thin, black cardboard envelope with the inscription "btf.it". A strip similar to OBI ("帯") is applied to the spine of the cover. Includes a 12-page booklet, all in Mint condition. 2. Alphataurus "Attosecondo" is the second studio album of this legendary band, that reformed in 2007, and was issued on AMS Records – AMS 212 CD in Italy 2012. Mint & sealed. 3. De De Lind debut (and only...) album with full title "Io Non So Da Dove Vengo E Non So Dove Mai Andro. Uomo E' Il Nome Che Mi Han Dato" was originally issued in 1972; this cd was reissued and remastered in Italy 2004 on Vinyl Magic 2000 Records – btf.it – VM CD 083. Mint & sealed. 4. Le Orme "Ad Gloriam" originally came out in 1969, this is a 2007 reissue on RMCD 4180. 5. Live Orme is a 2CD reissued in Italy 2009 on Black Widow Records – BWRCD 115-2 and contains live concert registrations from their Italian tours between 1975 and 1977. The original albums were issued in Japan 1986, this remastered double CD comes in a slim double jewel case and includes a 6-panel booklet. 6. Le Orme "La Via della Seta" is a relatively recent studio album of a reformed Le Orme and was released as a digipack 3-panel gatefold cover with booklet in Italy 2011 on Love Music – LM 001. 7. Locanda Delle Fate "Forse Le Lucciole Non Si Amano Più" is a 1994 Italy remastered reissue on Polydor – 523 688-2 of the original 1977 album. Mint & sealed 8. Maschera Di Cera "Le Porte Del Domani" was issued in Italy 2013 on AMS Records – AMS 217 CD. The cover more than hints at the classic "Felona e Sorona" and the music perfectly fits in that old fashioned melodic, bombastic and heavy RPI style, earning them excellent reviews on progarchives 9. Museo Rosenbach "Zarathustra" Live in Studio is a beautiful reissue (Italy 2012) of the original "Zarathustra" album from 1973 - often referred to as one of the best Italian "progmonsters" - surely it's one of my most favorites 10. Museo Rosenbach "Barbarica" - is the much-awaited - and very good - second album of the same band and was released as ARS IMM / 1017 in Italy 2013 11. Museo Rosenbach "Live in Tokyo" released as ARS IMM / 1025 in Italy 2014 is a 2CD album in Mini LP sleeve. This live recording from Club Citta, Kawasaki, Tokyo is from April 2013 and both Museo albums were played in full. 12. Osanna "Palepoli" is a reissue from Italy 1999 on Warner Fonit – 3984 28279-2 in the Rock Progressivo Anni 70 series of the original 1973 album 13. Osanna "L'uomo" and "Preludio, Tema, Variazoni e Canzona" is a CD combining the first two albums by Osanna, from 1971 respectively 1972, and rated "excellent" by prog lovers. The CD was issued on Warner Music Italy – 5053105-1372-5-1 in the EU 2012. 14. Osanna "Palepolitana" and "Palepoli" Palepolitana is a 2CD issued in Italy 2015 on Afrakà – CD LVRG 2626. The first CD is their new release "Palepolitana" and the second contains the songs of the '73 historical album "Palepoli", reinterpreted by Osanna's lineup in 2015 15. PFM in Classic – da Mozart a Celebration – is a 2CD issued on ARS IMM / 1019 in Italy 2013; it is housed in a three panel digipak including 16 page booklet. 16. Raccomandata Ricevuta Ritorno - Per... Un Mondo Di Cristallo - WPCR-17342 is a Japanese Reissue from 2016 of the original 1972 album - this Super High Material (SHM)-CD from the Progressive Rock SHM-CD Collection 1300 comes in a jewel case, with OBI, lyrics and a description. This mint SHM-CD is super rare - offers on discogs start around €50 17. Reale Accademia Di Musica - Sony 88875000842 is a reissued / remastered release from Italy 2014, of their self-titled debut from 1972 18. and 19. Quella Vecchia Locanda - their self-titled debut and second album "Il Tempo Della Gioia" are also considered RPI gems, especially the debut from 1972. The first is a Italy 2008 reissue on RCA Italiana – 88697343662, and the second is also from Italy 2008 on RCS Italiana – 88697343672 20. Ys "Il Balletto Di Bronzo" - this is an approx. 2005 reissue on Polydor 523 693-2 of the original masterpiece from 1972. These CD's come from my personal collection and are in flawless NM condition, rather like new, as if they just left the shop, and quite a few actually are still mint & sealed.
