He published several books, amongst others: ”International Territory: The United Nations, 1945-95”, 1995. ”Kosmos: A Portrait of the Russian Space Age” (2001), Boulevard (2006) with images of Los Angeles and Paris. His work can be found in the collections of the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and others. In 2013, he was shortlisted for the Prix Pictet, a global award in photography and sustainability.
