Leírás az eladótól
1. Introduction
A refined full-size French violin, model, representing the elegant aesthetic and tonal balance of the early 20th-century Mirecourt tradition. This instrument exemplifies the meticulous craftsmanship and characteristic amber varnish associated with French workshops of the period.
2. Historical and Artistic Context
French violin making flourished in the workshops of Mirecourt, where generations of artisans developed a distinctive tone and visual refinement. This violin reflects that lineage, combining the symmetry and warmth of classical French outlines with the practical durability suited to both performers and collectors.
3. Craftsmanship and Materials
Constructed with a two-piece flamed maple back, matching ribs, and a finely grained spruce top. The golden-brown oil varnish reveals a transparent depth that enhances the natural figure of the wood. Ebony fittings with well-finished pegs and a classic Guarneri-style chinrest complete its traditional appearance.
4. Tonal Character and Playability
The instrument responds evenly across all registers, offering a warm lower register and a clear, projecting upper range. Its tonal palette is distinctly French—mellow yet vibrant—making it ideal for both chamber and solo performance.
5. Condition
• Bridge: Original and old, in good, stable condition.
• Soundpost: Original, properly fitted and stable.
• Strings: New factory-quality set installed.
• Case: Included, old but functional wooden case.
