Norton - ES2 - 500 cc - 1950
Very nice restored 500cc Norton ES2 with complete history.
Delivered new by Dealer Horseman in Liverpool, England on 28 October 1950. The engine was dispatched in November 1950 from the Norton factory.
The engine and frame have been authenticated by the Norton Owners Club and both date from late 1950.
The Norton starts easily. It drives, brakes and shifts very good with big power.
The lights work and the dynamo charges good.

The Norton was restored about 10 years by an old mechanic in Devon, UK. He was a retired truck mechanic who used to work for 'Hobbs Quarries'.
The engine was also overhauled by him and fitted with a new piston etc.
After the restoration the Norton was enjoyed during VMC rides to complete satisfaction.
The Norton was inspected by the RDW in September 2023 and is ready to ride with a Dutch EU registration.
A Norton Owners Club Certificate and a modern Dutch registration card are included (see the photos).
In case of export: Free export document included.
For French buyers: Assistance available when requesting the "carte grise de collection".
Worldwide transport by specialised transport company.
This motorcycle can be viewed at the Catawiki Stand during the Vehiculous Classic and Oldtimer Market in Hardenberg on Saturday, October 7.
