Provenance- from the collection of collector who collected Chinese works of art in Hong Kong from 1950 to the 1970s. He lived in Shanghai from 1947-48 and became a successful businessman living and working in Hong Kong from 1949 until his death in 1994.

There is some slight abrasion to the inner flange of the cover and the inside edge of the rim. Natural inclusions in the stone otherwise in good condition.
