It's becoming more and more challenging to find a "% functional" Vintage Apple/Macintosh PLUS !
Especially in "VERY GOOD CONDITION" & "FULLY RECAPED".
Being an Apple enthusiast, I have collected RARE and VALUABLE hardware and software for my co-sentimental Apple companions. The lucky Macintosh Apple enthusiast can supplement his/her collection with this legendary collector's item: the “Macintosh PLUS”.
UNIQUE to this particular computer are “the engraved signatures” of the original Macintosh team - including the signature of “STEVE JOBS” - inside the CASE. The Macintosh team found the original Macintosh ART - and they saw themselves as ARTISTS. When you open “the case”, you understand why.
This is the third model in the Macintosh line, introduced January , - two years after the original Macintosh () and one year after the Macintosh K. Price tag at the time was US $ (equivalent of $ , in ).
// IMPORTANT – WHY BUY FROM ME?

I am a Mac user from way back in the Legacy Era. I offer Vintage Apple computers as I would buy them myself. My admiration for Steve Jobs' legacy is so great that I want the Macs I sell, to stand "the test of time". Furthermore I only sell items I have "passion" for.
Hardware-wise, all my sold computers are completely disassembled, (deep) cleaned – and, if necessary, repaired – in order to extend their lifespan. See pictures.
// ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST & BATTERY ACID
– DUST: the inside of a -year-old computer (and keyboard and mouse) looks the same as "the collection-container of a vacuum cleaner" (read: a dust bunny). And as you know "dust" can ruin your electronics;
– LEAKS: -year-old batteries will someday leak, causing irreversible damage to the computer. The battery is removed (FYI: online you can buy a new .V battery for date/time settings. Please let me know if you need help finding the right battery, however a battery is not required to use this computer). To preserve the computer for the future it is even better to not place a new battery;
– BOARD REVISION: both boards (analog logic) were revised (thus: the non-functioned electrolytic capacitors were replaced).
– REFURBISHED: the floppy drive is refurbished. This includes "floppy drive lubrication". Therefore the "internal floppy drive" works like a charm (formatting, reading and writing disks and of-course ejecting). Usually the "EJECT mechanism" fails. So the famous paperclip method is NOT needed for this Mac! Thus: SERVICED and totally functional floppy drive.
Long-Story Short. Computers from other vendors may look the same on the outside. I can guarantee you that the inside is very different! So if you want to enjoy your investment for as long as possible, choosing "wisely" is advisable.
// GERM-FREE "RARE" MA KEYBOARD & M MOUSE
The Macintosh comes with the accompanying keyboard and mouse. Those objects alone are already worth a fortune on auction websites. The keyboard (and mouse) are completely disassembled and cleaned professionally (see pictures). In my opinion it is my responsibility (as a seller) to provide a Germ-Free keyboard (a study found that % of the keyboards were contaminated with bacteria). So, I think we can agree that nobody wants a nasty, infected keyboard.

The aforementioned software was released along the first Apple Macintosh systems in . "MacWrite" and "MacPaint" were two original "killer applications" that propelled the adoption and popularity of the Mac in particular.

The computer only includes software & games that is classified as "abandonware" ( from the Public Domain, distributed over the internet and available freely, easily and readily). The software is supplied "free of charge" as a free service (for the retro-computing fan). The floppy disk is a digital copy of the original Plus kb floppy disk.

I ALWAYS use brand-new-(Kb)-floppies to copy "system & software". Therefore the color is subject to availability at the time of payment. Floppy color can be "blue, black or white".
// WHAT MAKES THIS VINTAGE APPLE EVEN MORE SPECIAL?
The Macintosh Plus was the last classic Mac to feature a “telephone cord-like port” - on the front of the device - for the keyboard; as well as the “DE- connector” for the mouse (later models would use ADB ports). That makes this Apple Computer extremely RARE and EXCEPTIONAL … and therefore a good investment. FYI: The RARE keyboard and mouse, they alone are worth the bid (check other websites for their prices)!
As an evolutionary improvement over the K, the PLUS came with MB RAM standard, and an external SCSI peripheral bus that launched the popularity of external SCSI devices for Macs (hard drives, tape drives, CD-ROM drives, printers, Zip drives, and even monitors).
And even better. I upgraded the MB Plus to MB (DOUBLED memory).

As these are "vintage items", they are being sold as. Normal signs of use and wear. But as an experienced connoisseur I can guarantee that these items are in VERY GOOD condition (always keeping in mind their age). The numerous images are part of the meticulous description. Thus: judge yourself!
PS/ this is not a modern computer (but a collectable & investment). Inform yourself (Google it!) about the possibilities of this pre-internet device.
// IMPORTANT – A NOTE ON YELLOWED PLASTICS!
Some words on the yellowing.
Old computer cases are made of ABS plastics which contain at that time "BROMINE". The element bromine reacts over the time of years with UV light and causes (not-even) "yellowing". The bromine yellowing is not even. I mean. Some parts age differently.
Take into account the fact that the plastic case shows "some stains" en "cosmetical imperfections" that are unfortunately difficult to capture (on photo). But they are there!
Please, if you find the aforementioned "stains" and "imperfections" a problem, it is recommended that you do NOT bid on this item. Again … the yellowed plastic is not easy to capture on camera. And the colour (of the pictures) depends on lighting, etc
FYI/
Experienced collectors love the "aging-bromine-yellowing". You can compare it with "patina" on vintage furnitures. For connoisseurs it transforms the-surface-of-a-piece from the ordinary to the exceptional – and it tells a story … and brings on the appeal of objects that show their age openly. But again … it is important to know that this specific Mac has PATINA.
Be aware. All mechanical parts make more noice than you are use to, compared with modern equipment. But this is “normal” behavior. Obviously this is a year old machine. The speed is therefore corresponding. For example. Booting-up takes a while.
FYI:
When the computer has not been used for a long time, the CRT screen may be vibrate a little. That is "normal" vintage CRT behaviour. The vibrating stops after the CRT warms up.

Diventa sempre più difficile trovare un Vintage Apple/Macintosh PLUS "% funzionante"!
Soprattutto in "CONDIZIONE MOLTO BUONA" e "REVISIONATO COMPLETAMENTE".
Essendo un appassionato di Apple, ho raccolto hardware e software RARI e PREZIOSI per i miei compagni Apple co-sentimentali. Il fortunato appassionato di Macintosh Apple può integrare la sua collezione con questo leggendario oggetto da collezione: il “Macintosh PLUS”.
UNICHE per questo particolare computer sono le "firme incise" del team Macintosh originale, inclusa la firma di "STEVE JOBS", all'interno del CASE. Il team Macintosh ha trovato l'ARTE Macintosh originale e si considerava ARTISTA. Quando apri "il case", capisci perché.
Si tratta del terzo modello della linea Macintosh, introdotto il gennaio , due anni dopo il Macintosh originale () e un anno dopo il Macintosh K. Il prezzo di listino all'epoca era di $ USA (equivalenti a . $ nel ).
// IMPORTANTE – PERCHÉ ACQUISTARE DA ME?

Sono un utente Mac fin dai tempi della Legacy Era. Offro computer Apple d'epoca come se li acquistassi io stesso. La mia ammirazione per l'eredità di Steve Jobs è così grande che voglio che i Mac che vendo resistano "alla prova del tempo". Inoltre, vendo solo articoli per cui ho "passione".
Per quanto riguarda l'hardware, tutti i miei computer venduti sono completamente smontati, (profondamente) puliti e, se necessario, riparati per prolungarne la durata. Vedi le immagini.
// UN ALTRO MORDE LA POLVERE E L'ACIDO DELLA BATTERIA
– POLVERE: l'interno di un computer di anni (e tastiera e mouse) sembra uguale alla «contenitore di raccolta di un aspirapolvere» (cioè, un batuffolo di polvere). E come sai, la «polvere» può danneggiare i tuoi dispositivi elettronici.
FUTTI DI FUORIUSCITA: le batterie di anni arriveranno un giorno a fuoriuscire, causando danni irreversibili al computer. La batteria viene rimossa (per tua informazione: online puoi acquistare una nuova batteria da ,V per le impostazioni di data/ora. Fammi sapere se hai bisogno di aiuto per trovare la batteria giusta, anche se una batteria non è necessaria per usare questo computer). Per preservare il computer per il futuro, è ancora meglio non inserire una nuova batteria;
– REVISIONE DELLA TAVOLA: entrambe le schede (analogica logica) sono state revisionate (quindi: i condensatori elettrolitici non funzionanti sono stati sostituiti).
– RICONDIZIONATO: il floppy drive è ricondizionato. Ciò include la "lubrificazione del floppy drive". Pertanto il "floppy drive interno" funziona a meraviglia (formattazione, lettura e scrittura dei dischi e ovviamente espulsione). Di solito il "meccanismo EJECT" fallisce. Quindi il famoso metodo della graffetta NON è necessario per questo Mac! Quindi: floppy drive ASSISTITO e totalmente funzionante.
Per farla breve. I computer di altri venditori possono sembrare uguali all'esterno. Posso garantirti che l'interno è molto diverso! Quindi, se vuoi goderti il tuo investimento il più a lungo possibile, è consigliabile scegliere "saggiamente".
// TASTIERA MA E MOUSE M "RARI" SENZA GERMI
Il Macintosh viene fornito con la tastiera e il mouse accompagnatori. Quegli oggetti da soli valgono già una fortuna sui siti di aste. La tastiera (e il mouse) sono completamente smontati e puliti professionalmente (vedi immagini). A mio parere è mia responsabilità (in qualità di venditore) fornire una tastiera senza germi (uno studio del ha scoperto che il % delle tastiere era contaminato da batteri). Quindi, penso che possiamo concordare sul fatto che nessuno voglia una tastiera brutto, infetta.

Di solito offro "bundle internazionali in inglese"... ma ho pensato che fosse giunto il momento di servire anche i miei colleghi Apple di lingua "francese". Puoi ottenere questo bundle con l'eccezionale tastiera AZERTY e anche il "sistema operativo francese" di accompagnamento. Inviami un messaggio subito dopo il pagamento se desideri il FRANCESE invece dell'inglese (altrimenti verrà spedito il bundle inglese predefinito).

Cosa rende questa mela vintage ancora più speciale?
Il Macintosh Plus è stato l'ultimo classico Mac a presentare una porta simile a un cavo telefonico – sulla parte anteriore del dispositivo – per la tastiera; così come il connettore «DE-» per il mouse (i modelli successivi avrebbero utilizzato porte ADB). Ciò rende questo computer Apple estremamente RARO ed ECCEZIONALE… e quindi un buon investimento. Per vostra informazione: la tastiera e il mouse RARE, da soli valgono l'offerta (controllate altri siti web per i loro prezzi)!
Come miglioramento evolutivo rispetto al K, il PLUS era dotato di MB di RAM standard e di un bus periferico SCSI esterno che diede inizio alla popolarità dei dispositivi SCSI esterni per Mac (dischi rigidi, unità nastro, unità CD-ROM, stampanti, unità Zip e persino monitor).
E ancora meglio. Ho aggiornato il MB Plus a MB (memoria RADDOPPIATA).

IMPORTANTE – ASPETTATIVE PER COMPUTER D'EPOCA
Poiché si tratta di "oggetti d'epoca", vengono venduti così. Segni normali di uso e usura. Ma come appassionato esperto posso garantire che questi oggetti sono in CONDIZIONI MOLTO BUONE (tenendo sempre presente la loro età). Le numerose immagini fanno parte della descrizione dettagliata. Quindi: giudica tu stesso!
PS/ questo non è un computer moderno (ma un oggetto da collezione e da investimento). Informatevi (cercatelo su Google!) sulle possibilità di questo dispositivo pre-internet.
// IMPORTANTE – NOTA SULLA PLASTICA INGIALLITA!
Alcune parole sull'ingiallimento. I vecchi case dei computer sono realizzati in plastica ABS che a quel tempo conteneva "BROMO". L'elemento bromo reagisce nel corso degli anni con la luce UV e causa (non uniforme) "ingiallimento". L'ingiallimento del bromo non è uniforme. Voglio dire. Alcune parti invecchiano in modo diverso.
Tieni presente che la scocca in plastica mostra "alcune macchie" o "imperfezioni estetiche" che purtroppo sono difficili da catturare (in foto). Ma sono lì!
Per favore, se ritieni che le "macchie" e le "imperfezioni" sopra menzionate siano un problema, ti consigliamo di NON fare offerte per questo articolo. Di nuovo... la plastica ingiallita non è facile da catturare con la macchina fotografica. E il colore (delle immagini) dipende dall'illuminazione, ecc.
PER TUA INFORMAZIONE/
I collezionisti esperti amano l'"ingiallimento da bromo da invecchiamento". Lo si può paragonare alla "patina" dei mobili d'epoca. Per gli intenditori trasforma la superficie di un pezzo da ordinaria a eccezionale, e racconta una storia... e porta con sé il fascino di oggetti che mostrano apertamente la loro età. Ma ancora una volta... è importante sapere che questo specifico Mac ha la PATINA.
Siate consapevoli. Tutte le parti meccaniche fanno più rumore di quanto siate abituati, rispetto alle apparecchiature moderne. Ma questo è un comportamento "normale". Ovviamente questa è una macchina vecchia di anni. La velocità è quindi corrispondente. Ad esempio, l'avvio richiede un po' di tempo.
