This is a rare statue of a beggar, designed and signed by Jun Asilo. Jun Asilo is an artist from the Philippines and designed sculptures made of resin and polyester. 1990s. He was best known for his detailed sculptures of clowns. All sculptures were made in the Philippines and each polyester statue was hand-painted, so no statue was exactly the same. Nowadays he mainly makes and designs for the American market. This sculpture of a beggar is smaller than his other sculptures, but made with many details. Signed on verso with Jun Asilo 1995.
