Rare French uniform worn by the troops and officers of the GRENADIERS of the NATIONAL GUARD. Period between 1830 and 1848, July Monarchy, Louis Philippe. Dark blue cloth, red collar and trim, buttoning at the front in two rows of silver buttons with the image of a grenade and the inscription: ‘Liberté Ordre Public’ - Coat-tails with red trim, embroidered insignia representing grenades - I am also throwing in a pair of second lieutenant’s epaulettes in poor condition - The jacket is authentic and in really good condition - width at the shoulders: 37 cm - sleeve length: 65 cm
