Very early original antique wooden wall telephone with copper/nickel bells and a battery box and writing table made by L. M. Ericsson Company Stockholm, Sweden.
The phone has a magneto and a crank to make calls.
All parts are original, also the fabric cord, There is a little crack in the mouthpiece of the telephone handle, see pictures, but it doesn't affect the beauty of the telephone.

The batterycover is wood and metal.
In 1878 Lars Magnus Ericsson began making and selling his own telephone equipment. His telephones were not technically innovative. In 1878 he made an agreement to supply telephones and switchboards to Sweden's first telecommunications operating company, Stockholms Allmänna Telefonaktiebolag.
