Ishtar was the most important female deity in ancient Mesopotamia. She was seen as a violent and lustful goddess and her realms included both war and sexual love.

Dimensions: 11,50 x 5,00 each.

Condition: Small nicks on top of the plaque. Some earthy adhessions and surface wear ( see pictures ). Fine condition.

Provenance: Ex M. V. Private Collection - Madrid, Spain since 1970's.
