One of the few genuine original tickets for the 1930 Football World Cup. Both the print
and the paper quality are from 1930.
99% of the tickets offered on the Internet and at other auctions are very well-made fakes.

Since around 2012 there has been a second generation of counterfeits, which also come from Uruguay.
They contain the previously missing
"er" in the number "1" and look like the original, but there is still a difference to original tickets.
They are also excellent fakes, but they were printed on modern paper. Unfortunately, there are some collectors who claim these fake tickets are the only real tickets.

Although these collectors are serious, they have no basic knowledge of printing processes
and paper production. These so-called “original”
tickets by these collectors were produced around 2005 and systematically introduced into
the market. These fakes are very rare and of high quality, but luckily these are printed on modern paper, unlike the other tickets.

The object is accompanied by a highly reputable COA from a German auction house that
is in the football memorabilia business for decades.
