Antique travel alarm clock - alarm clock - clock -patented 1878-1884. Made in the United States of America. This rare alarm clock / travel alarm clock is only 10 cm in size (6 cm without bell) but exceptionally heavy Made of copper, cut glass and steel and with a unique patented bell-and winding system from the end of the 19th century. The bell is wound separately on top of the bell itself. The mechanism and cogs are located inside the bell and are connected to the mechanism in the clock. The clock is wound with a broad lever with which the entire back of the alarm clock rotates a number of strokes. In the edge joint of the cut glass with the steel is a small crack on the bottom left (as shown in the pictures). The alarm clock runs and rings properly (approx 28 hours) and is in a used good condition. Will be well packaged and sent by registered mail.
