A beautiful diver from the 1980s. Made by the Italian DPW in cooperation with Breitling. This company produced military watches, for i.a. the Italian army and others, up until the mid 1980s. They went bankrupt due to cuts in the late 1980s. The steel case has a black coating and measures 41 mm including the crown. It has a unidirectional rotating bezel that rotates smoothly. The dial has thick indices and hands and an image of a sail boat with the text 'Americo Vespucci'. The date is at 3 o'clock and the watch has a quartz movement. The battery was recently replaced professionally. The watch runs fine. The case back is inscribed 'Breitling Swiss made' on the inside and with i.a. DPW... 'militare modello distribuzione unica FF.AA.' on the back. It is also waterproof (indication - no warranty). The strap was later fitted and it is a rubber strap of 20 mm wide, suited for wrists of up to 21 cm. Everything is in neat condition (optically 8/10) with few signs of wear (i.a. some fading of the black on the case).
