A beautiful hand-sewing machine of Durkopp, it is the type "Wilhelmina". It was issued on the occasion of the 20-year jubilee of reign of Queen Wilhelmina. The good working machine is richly decorated. There are gold-coloured edges with tendrils and and golden/yellow coloured flowers. There are also multicoloured mother-of-pearl inlaid flowers (some damaged from use). It also contains a wood inlaid measuring stick. In the middle the image of our Queen Wilhelmina (damaged) can be seen. The machine was produced in Germany. The production number is 125791. The machine has a beautiful golden logo with the inscription ' W ' "and crown. The shiny nickel-plated front lid is beautifully decorated with profiled flower tendrils while the round maintenance lid includes a summary of the needles you should use! The machine is complete with bobbins, attachment and key, which are placed in a nice storage compartment closed by means of a blind. The machine has a fine wood dust cover with lock, beautiful inlaid wood, profiles on the corners, inscription "Wilhelmina" and brass handle. The dimensions are length x width x height: 49 x 26 x 33 cm (including dust cover). The woodwork is damaged here and there.
