Roger Bonduel (Pittem , 22 February 1930) is a Belgian sculptor, painter and designer. Bonduel became best known for his sculpture and reliefs. He used nickel, copper, steel, silver, brass, bronze and tin. He made either figurative monuments, or abstract or abstracting monuments. The work I offer was made in 2004 and is completely made of tin. This unique piece is titled: sea = source of life. It shows marine life finely engraved in all its facets. This artwork measures, total size 66cm wide on 27cm high. The dimensions of the engraved part is 54cm by 15cm. The total thickness is 2cm. This artwork is signed at the top and bottom plus added text at the back, see pictures. This solid tin artwork weighs 9kg , with packaging over 10kg . The whole is in new condition.
