In reality the knife is much more beautiful then on the photos, the shiny metal is very difficult to photograph. The knives from the Monster Movie Collection are among the rarest and most desirable of the Franklin Mint Collector Knives. The Franklin Mint certifies that the Bride of Frankenstein™ Monster Movie Collector Knife is officially authorized by Universal Studios. It is also certified that this custom-designed folding knife features a "coffin-shaped" handle emblazoned with a sculpted graveyard in silver and embellished with the name Bride of Frankenstein accented in 24 karat gold. The handle also opens up to reveal an original full-color portrait of the legendary monster. On the back of the coffin lid is a scene of the laboratory of Dr Victor Frankenstein, accented in silver. The back handle is solid red in color and has the 24 karat gold-plated Franklin Mint Medallion embedded within. In addition, it is crafted with a blade of stainless steel which fold snugly into the handle. The blade has a protective coating to prevent stains. Very solid quality as you are used to from Franklin Mint. Length of the knife folded is 10. cm Length of knife folded out is 18 cm It is further certified that each Monster Movie collector knife has been issued in an edition strictly limited to 45 days casting and was available exclusively through Franklin Mint.
