Beautiful objects in bronze with rest of gold leaf of interesting forms and engravings used in Roman times for the protection and fixation of arms.
The Roman Cingulum Militare was the belt used by the soldiers of the Roman army to gird up their tunic and hang their sharp weapons, like the sword.
It was also known as balteus used by Roman legionaries who, thanks to its fringes with bronze studs, offered a light protection to the cuts in the pubic area
It was made of leather and adorned with pterygias or inguinal protections and decorated with different types of buckles, metal plates and studs.
