He studied at school №1 in Dnepropetrovsk from 1978 to 1981. Since 1981-1986 he studied in Kharkov Academy of Arts, in 1987-1990 years Vitaly worked in St. Petersburg Restoration Center, he was engaged in monumental and decorative painting, conducted restoration work in the museums of St. Petersburg, as well as in the Russian Museum, the museums of Moscow and Feodosia. In the works of Vitaly Karpenko are very noticeable poetry and sincerity works that are performed in hyperrealism are singled out, which is far from possible for many artists of the modern Russian school.
