Francesco Moser (F. Moser) - Pernod Olympia - Rower wyścigowy - 1978

This road bike has the usual signs of use, but is still top in condition. More detailed pictures regarding circuit and other details to follow Rh 53cm 7 kg ALAN was founded in 1972 by Falconi Lodovico, an engineer who had worked for bike maker Torpado. The name ALAN comes from the first two letters of the children of Lodovico, Alberto and Annamaria. It was the first company to introduce an aluminium bicycle frame for aerospace applications. In 1976, ALAN carbon frames were produced by bonding Torayca carbon fibre composite pipes with cast aluminium noses, a process that is still widely used by many manufacturers today. ALAN frames gave their name to many famous cyclists of their time, and this particular model and the original version by Francesco Moser were equipped with a complete Galli group. Galli and Co was founded in Turin in the 1930s. Giovanni Galli was a cyclist, and his claim to fame was making the world's first aluminium brake caliper brake. It was considered the same as Campagnolo in technical terms, but without the unnecessary hype. Francesco Moser dominated the world of cycling from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s, and won the 1984 Giro d'Italia, the World Road Racing World Championship in 1977 and six times in three of the five classics. He became a professional in 1973 and showed a cultivated pedalling style. But his powerful physique meant he was not a climber. His 273 road victories put him behind Eddy Merckx (525) and Rik Van Looy (379), but ahead of Rik Van Steenbergen (270) and Roger De Vlaeminck (255). He was also an experienced track rider, racing six to six races in his career. He rode 35, including 14 with René Pijnen, and won 15. During his racing career, Francesco gave his name to ALAN bicycles to make this stunning racing machine.
