The symbol of a new era, focussing on plastic. This is how the 'Plia' chair was welcomed in 1967 when displayed at the Milan Furniture Fair. The designer Giancarlo Piretti revolutionised the concept of the folding chair with the Plia, his pin and 3 disk idea was considered a stroke of genius. Plia represents the creation of democratic design and is displayed in the design section of MoMa New York.
The chair is in good condition, ready to be used. With normal signs of age. The chairs have scratches typical of these models and this age. Far from being defects, these signs of age attest to the age of the object, the closer it was to the time of its creation the more interesting it is.
