A wonderful old desk chair in the style of Thonet, presumably from the 1940s/50s. The chair can be rotated and is adjustable in seat height between approx. 47.5 cm and 62 cm. Marked with the label of Drevounia, Czechoslovakia. The chair is in good condition. Both the wooden frame and the wickerwork seat are still sturdy and solid. Only from the underside you can see a small piece of broken rattan, but this is minimal. Needs no restoration whatsoever. The armrests have 'balded' somewhat through usage, this can of course be retouched by applying it with a new layer of antiques oil/wax or lacquer. Measurements: Back height 85.5 cm (at a seat height of 52 cm) Seat height between 47.5 and 62 cm Seat diameter 48 cm. The chair can be picked up in Bilthoven (near Utrecht, the Netherlands). Optional transport can be arranged in consultation and at the buyer's risk and expense.
