Beautiful Art Nouveau sculpture of a young woman in a dramatic pose.
The artist designed this lovely sculpture with much love for detail. The sculpture stands on a wooden base of a later date The sculpture is signed on the base by the artist Ruchot and carries a plaque on the pedestal with the title of the sculpture "Bouchon d'Or". Charles Ruchot was a French sculptor, active between approx. 1880 and 1925. Ruchot has left an impressive oeuvre, in his later period he was also inspired by the Art Nouveau.
