A rare vintage Seiko Seikomatic Weekdater 26 jewels/6206-8040. This Weekdater has the beautiful silver dial and the 3D Seiko logo. Overall the case is in very good condition. Especially considering the age of this watch, the serial number dates this Weekdater to March 1966. The steel strap is from a general brand (not Seiko). The quick date adjustment works great, and the day can be altered by turning 24hrs. The day is only indicated in English. At the time, this wristwatch was seen as the 'top of the line' next to the business models. Although the supplied box is from Seiko, this is not the original box in which this Seiko was sold in 1966. The steel strap is 21 cm long. The case diameter is approx. 37 mm x 43.5 m. A very beautiful 'vintage' Seiko wristwatch with a high collection value. Certainly in this condition, they are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
