Beautiful ceramic table lamp from the 1960s.
It was probably made by Joost Marechal for his own studio Keramar. (Not to be mistaken with the Perignem studio).
Joost Marechal was a pioneer of Belgian ceramics and a mentor for different artists such as Rogier Vandeweghe. His influence can be seen throughout the different works of the Perignem and/or Amphora workshop.
This specific lamp is made of earthenware, and has a unique copper glazed finish.
A beautiful timeless piece to own, whether your interior is classic or modern.
It remains in a rather mint condition with barely any visual wear and tear.
