The commissioning of a prototype of a real helmet in 1984 revealed a defect in the strength of the metallic coating.
The Gallet company came up with the idea of cutting a round hole at the top and transforming it into a champagne bucket.
The success was such that Adrien Gallet had to consider continuing the production of these original buckets.
It's a 1987 helmet, made of plastic
