This binoculars is an absolute rarity and a "MUST-HAVE" for every collector. It is one of the most prestigious (and expensive) Zeiss military binoculars. It is featuring an extremely sturdy and heavy body, a reticle at right tube which can be illuminated by a battery powered device (wich is not included) and a detector for active infra-red sources, which is charged by the UV contribution of the daylight. The eyecups are made of soft rubber and fold in so that the binocular can be used with gas-mask. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The item is still usable but NEED TO BE SERVICED. I can see inside a spot of dirt, some cleanable haze from evaporation (not from fungus), and separation on the left frontal lens. Because of that I sell this with a low reserve price in AS IS CONDITION for servicing / repairing / part replacements or simply for collection. No complain thanks.
