Parker - Wieczne pióro - Czapka „VP”, czarna i 1/10, wypełniona 12K złotem, cienka stalówka GT „65” - konwerter aerometryczny „Clean Filler”

DETAILS: Nice vintage Parker "VP" (Very Personal) pen, highly collectible ! The Parker "VP" is a pen with an adjustable grip to make life a little easier for left-handed writers and others that prefer a somewhat different writing angle. The rotating nib gives the user an option to arrange it as a Very Personal writer, hence the "VP" designation of this model. Also the grip section is designed for a nice writing experience, it is triangular to fit nicely between the the two fingers and the thumb, used by most when writing. It also has grades imprinted in the plastic close to the nib, to help the user to quickly set the nib at the right angle. The Parker "VP" had (at the time) a new style of converter, which ends in a long, thin tube that the user inserts into the bottle, compress the sac inside the filler and then replacing the filler into the pen. It is made from a clear plastic and contains a thin breather tube inside. It's thin, plastic tube must be inserted in a straight movement into the back of the ink collector (without rotation), otherwise it will probably break. Likewise, to pull it out, the user simply cannot rotate it (as is often done with a regular converter to facilitate the extraction) - it must be pulled out straight, just by pulling. This mandatory method is engraved on the filler: "GRIP HERE / PULL OUT --->". The Parker VP with its adjustable/rotating nib is the ancestor of one of the most successful pen designs ever, the Parker "75". Production years: 1962—1964. In Black plastic barrel and section. Cap shiny gold filled 1/10 12K with parallel lines engraving in groups of six. Gold plated trim and grey mother-of-pearl cap and barrel conical jewels. Long feathered clip with "V" concave top of arrow. Clean Filler removable "aerometric" converter with metallic casing and clear view window for left ink level, pressure bar and "FOUR TIMES" with translucent ink sac. Gold nib 14K, "65" = F fine tip (marked on feed). Marked engraved on cap lip: PARKER (both sides), VP and MADE IN USA 1/10 12K GF and LOGO (see photos). Total length (cap closed): 13,9cm. Made in USA. Clean and shiny ! No case supplied, sorry. All original and authentic, Please consider the pictures as part of the description as they show the exact item that will be purchased. CONDITION: There is a partial CRACK on the barrel lip, about 15mm long and lengthwise, which I tried to show in last pictures - this imperfection won't compromise the function and beauty of the pen and besides it is not very noticeable. Otherwise pen is near mint overall - no flaws and few visible wear marks. Barrel and section plastics perfectly shiny polished and free of scratches. Microscopic scratches and a few very light marks on cap. No dents, no scuffs to the cap and barrel. No dings. No other cracks, no deformation to cap and barrel. Cap closes smoothly and holds tight and firmly both closed and posted. Clip is perfectly straight aligned and adjusts strongly to the cap surface. The Nib is perfect, no scratches or deformations, crisp engravings and rotating smoothly. Filling up easily. No leaks or blots. Absolutely no wear or brassing to the gold platings. MOP jewels perfect as new and shiny. The Clean Filler converter is also excellent, no cracks, no deformations or any flaws. The sac is hardly translucent and the acrylic tube shows some ink residues inside. No oxidations overall. Crisp engravings. Writing smoothly and with a good ink flow. No personal engravings. In perfect working condition. PACKING & SHIPPING: Package Includes: Item as described and carefully packed together with Catawiki Invoice. I will post this Item by Registered Mail (with Tracking Number, to be provided on Catawiki item page).
