Elegant pair of Plantagenet style candlesticks in Capodimonte porcelain finely decorated with floral application. The porcelain of the Capodimonte tradition is characterised by its distinctive milky colour. The soft paste from which the precious pieces take shape is moulded using plaster moulds. It then undergoes a first long firing, obtaining a piece of ceramic biscuit ready to be painted by hand and then fired again in the kiln to fix the colour. The floral compositions are, instead, hand-shaped by the craftsman and then follow the same procedure as the objects obtained with the mould.
