Outside Spain his work was seen in several solo exhibitions in Cuba (1956 and 1958) and in Brussels (1964), a city where, at the 1965 International Exhibition, "Las artes en Europa" he won the gold medal of the "Syndicat de initiatives de la Ville de Bruxelles". In the international field he received recognitions such as the Diploma and Gold Medal of "Arts, Sciences, Lettres" of Paris in 1968, and he became knight of The Order of the Italian Republic in 1973.
