For sale a beautiful and rare Hohner Telecaster, model Mad Cat “The Prinz”, replica of the original Hohner played by Prince. The guitar features the original Hohner body with flamed maple top (very heavy!) and Fender Telecaster neck, original parts with Fender mechanics. Unlike the original, it has 3 single coil pickups (instead of 2), as well as a built-in ATC-2 preamp with push-pull pot and switch, which is not connected though - I provide a wiring diagram given to me by the previous owner. It shows some signs of age (some indentations, especially of the varnish on the edges of the fretboard) but otherwise is almost perfect. Only one defect: the electronics needs to be checked/cleaned because the voice sometimes comes and goes, especially when moving the lever selector - I think it’s just a matter of oxidised contacts, I haven’t opened it as I’m not an expert.
