Late Medieval pewter plate, marked with a crowned rose and makersmark initials AI from Adriaan Inghelmond who worked in Brughes 1539-1556. This pewter plate is recovered from a Spanish shipwreck from the mid 16th century. The ship was wrecked off the East Coast of Hispaniola (Dominican Republic) and is one of the earliest European wrecks discovered in the Americas.
