This release was marketed as The Who's 2nd album on the continent. It omits two tracks from the UK version A Quick One and contains all tracks of the EP I'm A Boy (one side of which was probably first released on EP Ready Steady Who). Other than the UK counterpart, this is a stereo- (and false-stereo)-only release, while the UK "A Quick One" was mono-only at time of the first release (unlike the US Decca "Happy Jack" album, released a few months later in 1967). It was also released in Japan as LP The Who - I'm A Boy with slightly different track order. The two tracks on the UK LP A Quick One which are not included on this LP are 'So Sad About Us' and 'A Quick One, While He's Away' (perhaps not coincidentally, the last two tracks recorded for that album). Additional note: "In The City", "Disguises," "Circles" and "I'm a Boy" are on this LP, and all on the EP I'm A Boy, but not on the LP A Quick One.
