A lot of 19x raw garnet necklace beads from the ancient Persian, Bactrian culture.
1st millennium BC.
In good condition. It has been cleaned partly , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
