The red Barbaresco is obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, grown in the well-known Piedmontese municipality which gives its name to the denomination. The bunches, selected with almost obsessive care, come from 14 proprietary vineyards located at variable altitudes between 250 and 330 meters above sea level while the extremely low yields, typical in the Gaja house, are around 40 hl. The fermentation takes place in steel containers and the refinement involves 6 months of rest in barriques and another 18 in large oak barrels. Unquantifiable longevity! Barbaresco wine reveals itself in the glass with an intense ruby ​​color that over time turns towards garnet.
