A pair of wineglasses of yellow green uranium glass ("Radion"), with a so-called oroplastic decoration of armed amazones. The high parts of this etched decoration are covered with gold and the low parts are colored brown. The name of this decor is "Fipop". The stem of the glass is handcut in 8 facets. Both glasses are made around 1920 by Moser, the renowned producer of utmost high quality luxury glass in Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary), Czech Republic, the former Czecho-Slovakia. Identical wine glasses by Moser are known in amber and amethist colored glass, but the version in uranium glass is rare. The glasses are in top condition, near mint, without scratches, chips or other damage and hardly any wear. This is true for the non-decorated as well as for the decorated parts. One glass is signed on the bottom with diamant marker "Moser Karlsbad Cecho-Slovakia" (see picture 19). The height of both glasses is 19 cm. The combined weight is 561 grams (285 + 276 grams).
