Christo and Jeanne Claude / Martin von Ostrowski - Wrapped Reichstag vs. This is not a work of art

Christo Javacheff (1935-2020) / Martin von Ostrowski (1958), "Wrapped Reichstag" versus "Anti-Wrapped Reichstag" 1.- Original photograph of the event, with an original piece of the installation (not a sample). 2.- Rare ArtCard with wet stamp on its reverse. It represents the action-performance carried out by the artist Martin von Ostrowski during the inauguration of the Reichstag in June-July 1995. Ostrowski spent two weeks in Berlin's Republic Square, in front of the "wrapped Reichstag" building, with a poster with the inscription "This is not a work of art." For Martin von Ostrowski, the work of Christo and Jeanne Claude is a despicable “kitschification” of the most important building in Berlin. Ostrowski expressed his opinion that the mass movement of people around the Reichstag was more an event similar to an ecclesiastical convention or a popular festival than an artistic manifestation of interest... Martin von Ostrowski (1958), artist who works in various artistic techniques and genres, focusing on performance and painting. The important themes of his work are self-reflection, the emergence of identity and individuality, the embodiment of ideals, violence and aggression, the relationship between art-history and, like every artist, the question of definition and purpose of art. "Box" framing with fixed glass. Both items mounted on Fabriano cardboard. Size: 31.5 x 21.5 x 3.5 cm. Transparent back (plexiglax) with visible stamps. Perfect! __________________________________ Professional packaging with all security measures. Fast shipping with UPS or SEUR (mainly with these companies) and with a permanent tracking number.
