Facsimile edition of the 18th century Birkat Ha-mazon manuscript held at the Jewish Museum in Budapest (No. 64.626) which originally dates to 1751. Originally given as a wedding gift, the remarkable original manuscript was illustrated throughout with hand painted color illustrations, some illustrating scenes, and others as decorative borders. Brown suede clamshell box with gilt lettering, housing two volumes: - The hardcover facsimile, bound in light brown leather decorated with elaborate gilt floral motifs on the covers and spines, - Soft cover booklet with a study by Iris Fishof, a museum curator and Jewish art history scholar. Condition: Good. No stains, no creases, no insriptions.
