The traditional method of running cornice has been used for centuries to embellish interiors and exteriors with plaster ornaments. The translation of it often has an old-fashioned stigma. In creating the vessels, the historical background and technique use makes an interesting contrast with the contemporary character of the objects. By this, the technique gains new values so that it is no longer lost in obsolescence. By making a hollow mould and replacing the traditional plaster for an alpha crystalline gypsum the ornaments can be used as vessels.
