Beautifully carved swordfish bill, with the base and cracks in the swordfish bill filled with off white epoxy.
Very decorative item. A very impressive eye-catcher.
THE STORY
A master craftsman has intricately carved a pair of whale , a pair of marlin and a pair of turtles swimming in a coral reef setting. The carving is of very high quality and has a lot of detail. Could be seen as a type of scrimshaw.

The tusk is 78 cm long.
