The work is very interesting as it's showing the differents steps of the Japanese Erotic Painting ( Shunga) in the inverse sense, from 1940-50 to 17th century and the first erotic woodcuts.
Also very neat, the plates are boarded with a Gold square ( printed)
Unusual large format : 26,5 high x 34 cm Large. Hardback , with red cloth cover, a pattern Gold graved
Contained in a cream card slipcase with title and pattern Gold graved.
Overall in very good conditions, few opened.
The slipcase has slights traces and small stains inside ( photos)
The book stayed very good, small horns on half pages ( photo), one picture with slights traces ( photo), On the last red double-page , 2 paper spots stuck ( on old tape, maybe), On the double-page before, a small bump on the red one ( photo) and slights traces on the white ( photos)
