The work was probably trimmed when it was glued to the wooden panel, which is why the signature is missing. Around 1900. View of a harbor entrance in rough seas. The record price for this artist at auction since 1999 is 22,613 USD for "Anchoring the Bomschuit", which was sold at Christie's in Amsterdam in 2006.
