Supple, fresh and fruity on the palate. --------------------------------------------------- 1989 Château Colbert , Cotes de Bourg (1) - The Côtes de Bourg appellation is located on the right bank of the Gironde; just opposite the famous Margaux appellation. It produces nearly 90% of red wines with the following grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. This gives fruity, round wines with a powerful, generous, warm mouth and generally they are wines of good qualities. - The Côtes de Bourg whose color mixes purples and rubies reflections. The intense and captivating bouquet evokes magnolia and jammy black berries, in a discreetly woody atmosphere. On the palate, the flesh coats the tannins, the aromas prolong those discovered on the nose, with a mineral touch.
