A delightful pair of Art Nouveau cups and their saucers, circa 1890, the cups measuring 6.5cm in height at the handle, the saucers 12cm in diameter and all pieces together weighing 249g, with applied decoration of lilies and vines in low relief, the scroll handles terminating in a flower head, gilt to the interiors. Stamped to the rims and saucers with French Minerve assay marks for .950 silver and maker´s mark GB of Gaston Bésegher, active in Paris from 1886 to 1923.
Condition: A few shallow dents to the saucers, otherwise good.
