A great action packed Modesty Blaise strip drawn by Romero in 1970 for an instalment of ‘The Green Eyed Monster’, the third Modesty story Romero ever worked on. The strip shows Modesty deep in the jungle hunting the enemy.. The strip is #2348 from the Modesty saga, and is signed in the final panel by Romero. The reverse of the strip has a cut out of the printed newspaper strip pasted to the reverse. This is a very nicely inked strip showing Romero’s fantastic style for atmosphere and characters. Modesty Blaise was written by Peter O’Donnell and artists Jim Holdaway, Enric Badia Romero, John M Burns, Patrick Wright and Neville Colvin all worked on the artwork for the newspaper strips.
