Since I'm selling off my hifi collection, I present one of my favorite Sansui's ever. It is certainly one of the best preserved Alpha 707NRAs, without any scratch or stain or signs of smoking. It is a gem of Sansui's last years when the company tried to get back on track and put all their knowledge and best materials into the NRA series. As one expert put it: This thing is serious Hi-Fi for guns. Built like a tank, but with the precision of a Swiss watch. And the best of all - components, cheeks, teflon, mastic, copper everywhere including massive solid copper feet, gold plating, smooth volume control and later Alpha perfect tactile feedback wheel and button feel - light touch with positive confirmation in and out of position. It is so well built that it rarely needs any intervention after all these years. Combined with real speakers, the listener could feel close to a religious experience. It has so much detail with a wide soundstage that you could listen to it for hours. Since it was originally made for the Japanese market only, it runs on 100V, so I'm giving a powerful 3kW drop with it. I'll pack it well, bubble wrap and styrofoam.
