Beautiful vintage Pelikan 400 Fountain Pen with light green striped barrel and RARE green cap and turning knob. It is in fully working condition with pistonfilling system that fills completely. The barrel is bright and clear inside. The fountain pen has been cleaned ultrasonically. No imprint in the guilded capband, which makes it an early model of the 400-type. Imprint in barrel-end beneath the turning knob: 'Export Günther Wagner - Pelikan'. No personal engravings in barrel nor cap. Imprint in the solid gold Medium nib: 'PELIKAN . 585 . 14 KARAT DM'. Non flexible There is a small stain in the rear of the barrel: I can not see if this is because of leaking ink or because of a production error (see pics 5, 12, 13, 14). It is an excellent writer. Beautiful logo-imprint in the top of the cap. Some loss of guilding on the edge of the capband and at the end of the clip. The fountain pen comes in a grey plastic box for protection.
